Install GRIFO AI and dimension your next plan today.

The installer adds the GRIFO AI tab to your Revit. The first time Revit opens, sign in with the email from your purchase and the tools unlock. For now the add-in's buttons and windows are in Portuguese.

Before installing

Check that everything is ready

Revit 2025, 2026 or 2027

The installer carries all three versions and copies only the one found on your computer. If you have more than one, they all get the tab.

Windows 10 or 11

64-bit, with permission to install programs on your Windows account.

Internet to sign in

Only when signing in, on the first use of a Pro tool. The free tools (Dimension Plan, Generate Schedules and Model Audit) work with no login and no internet.

Password created

Create your password in the subscriber area with your email and the invoice number from your receipt.

Step by step

From installing to your first dimensioned plan

Four steps, in this order.

  1. Close Revit

    With Revit open, the new tab only shows up after a restart. Save what you are doing and close the program.

  2. Run the installer

    Open the downloaded file and follow the screens. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info and then Run anyway.

  3. Open Revit and allow the add-in

    Revit warns that it found a new add-in. Choose Always Load so it does not ask again.

  4. Use a Pro tool and sign in

    Dimension Plan, Generate Schedules and Model Audit already work with no login. On the first click on any Pro tool on the tab, the login window opens. Sign in with the email from your purchase, and the Pro tools stay unlocked until you close Revit.

No permission to run installers?

Manual installation

  1. Download the .zip version and extract the files.
  2. Open the folder with your Revit version number and copy the GrifoAI.addin file and the GrifoAI folder to that version's add-ins folder:
%AppData%\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2027

Paste the path into the File Explorer address bar and press Enter. Then continue from step 3 above.

Common installation problems

Chrome blocked the download, saying the file is dangerous

It happens with every installer that does not have a digital signature yet, whatever it does. Chrome did not analyze GRIFO AI and conclude it is harmful: it warns because it does not know who signed the file. We are getting the certificate, and in the meantime there are two ways.

Go ahead with the installer: open Chrome's downloads (Ctrl+J), find the file, click the three dots next to it and choose Keep. Then just open it as usual.

Or avoid the warning: download the .zip version. It has no executable inside, only the add-in files, and the browser does not complain. Installing is copying two things to a folder, in the step by step above.

Windows says "Windows protected your PC"

Same reason: an installer without a digital signature. Click More info and then Run anyway. If you would rather skip this, use the .zip version.

The GRIFO AI tab does not show up in Revit

Close Revit completely and open it again. If it still does not show up, check that your Revit version is 2025, 2026 or 2027 and whether you chose "Do Not Load" on the security warning. In that case, reinstall and choose "Always Load".

The Pro buttons look grayed out

That is normal before signing in. Click any Pro tool or Conta GRIFO AI (the account button) and sign in with your email and password. If the login fails, the window shows why, such as a wrong password, an expired subscription or the 2-computer limit.

It says "Sua conta já está em 2 computadores"

The message means your account is already on 2 computers, the limit of each subscription. Go to the subscriber area and disconnect the computer you no longer use.

It says "Sua assinatura venceu"

The message means your subscription has expired: the charge was not approved or the subscription was canceled. Renew it and open Revit again with the same login.

I forgot the password or have not created it yet

In the subscriber area, use "First access" with your email and the invoice number, or "Forgot password".

How to uninstall

In Windows Settings, open Apps, look for GRIFO AI and click Uninstall. For a manual installation, delete the GrifoAI.addin file and the GrifoAI folder from Revit's add-ins folder.
