How the license is checked
In every Revit session, the add-in checks your subscription.
The first time you use a Pro feature after opening Revit, the add-in asks for your login and checks the subscription. It takes a few seconds, and the features stay unlocked until you close Revit. If the subscription has expired or is in use on more than 2 computers, the window shows why and what to do.
